GENERAL SUMMARY:
Position entails attracting new clients for a Port St Lucie, FL based Information technology Company. We are looking for a commission-based sales representative to work as a contract employee. He or she will be responsible for soliciting (directly and indirectly) and processing sales from customers. Must have exceptional customer-oriented sales skills. Position is commissioned based and includes paid medical, subsidizes travel expenses, paid vacation and cell phone. Candidate must be a motivated self-starter who can work unsupervised. Position requires traveling by car to various potential customer locations in St Lucie and Martin County. Knowledge of the computer industry is helpful but not required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To research new companies and make sales contact prior to opening.
Generate new customers for Florida based computer technology business.
Candidate must present himself or herself in a professional manor.
Candidate must be familiar with the St Lucie and Martin County areas.
Candidate must be a motivated, personable and polished
Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION DIMENSIONS:
Primarily working inside. Candidate will be working in a non-smoking environment. Position requires travel to customer's locations in Saint Lucie and Marten County. Some work after normal business hours and weekends will be required.
COMPETENCIES (SKILLS) REQUIRED:
A successful sales rep. will focus on NEW ACCOUNT GENERATION, through business-to-business sales. Your high energy, drive to succeed and ability to work independently guarantee your success.
DESIRED EDUCATION and CERTIFICATION:
Although a minimum of a high school diploma is required, a two-year degree is preferred.
